Q: Where should I park if I’m attending the Downtown Watch Party on April 8th? 

A: Street parking will be FREE, but limited. Some business owners and churches nearby will also have parking options. Additionally, free parking will be available at North Plaza, South Plaza, and the parking next to post office. Parking lots will open at 8:15am and there are no reservations.

Printed Materials: Print or save your maps, directions, parking passes, hotel reservations, receipts, confirmations, etc. before your trip in the event of cellular disruptions.

A: Join us on March 21st at 5:30 for a town hall forum to learn more about the City's planning efforts and ask questions. The town hall forum will be taking place at the Ennis Welcome Center (201 NW Main St)

Q: How should local businesses prepare? 

A: Local businesses should consider the influx of visitors. According to the Great American Eclipse, Ennis is expecting anywhere from 50,000-200,000 visitors to Ennis. Businesses should review their business hours, staffing needs, business supplies and any road closures and traffic information.

Q: My business is a viewing site, how can I help prepare for extra capacity for trash?

A: Republic Services is offering a special pricing for the eclipse. 20 YD of $405 and a 30 YD at $455.  This includes delivery, haul, and disposal. For questions, please contact  lferguson@republicservices.com.
